Bret Baier Reveals Rumor About Why Biden Really Dropped Out, Who’s Controlling White House Now

President Joe Biden’s abrupt decision to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race has sent shockwaves through the political landscape.

Fox News chief political anchor Bret Baier, in an exclusive interview with Daily Mail, shed light on the controversy surrounding Biden’s health and the alleged efforts to conceal information from the public.

Baier, the anchor and executive editor of “Special Report with Bret Baier,” addressed the criticism Fox faced for reporting on Biden’s public incidents.

He defended the network’s coverage, stating, “This wasn’t a video that we were editing,” referring to Biden’s infamous frozen moment that took the internet by storm.

“This was a video that showed President Biden being led off the stage by former President Obama. It was there for viewers to see,” he told the outlet.

The anchor revealed that he had heard “rumors” of behind-the-scenes maneuvers involving prominent Democratic figures.

Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was allegedly threatening to release polling data that undermined Biden’s candidacy, according to Baier.

Baier also mentioned reports of former President Obama exerting influence to push Biden off the political stage.

The situation took a dramatic turn when Hollywood star George Clooney, a Democratic mega-fundraiser, penned an op-ed in the New York Times on July 10.

Clooney wrote, “It’s devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fundraiser was not the Joe ‘big F-ing deal’ Biden of 2010.”

“He wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020.”

Baier expressed frustration at the lack of acknowledgment from the White House or Biden campaign regarding the accuracy of Fox News’ reporting.

He stated, “When [Clooney’s] article came out, there was no one in the White House or the Biden campaign who reached out [to FNC] and said, ‘You were right. They weren’t cheap fakes. This wasn’t made up.’”

The anchor also raised questions about the power dynamics within the administration, noting Vice President Kamala Harris’s increased role in foreign affairs.

“Now that you’re going to have Kamala Harris meeting separately with foreign leaders, like we saw with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu [last week] and having her own press conferences,” Baier said.

“We have a situation where President Biden may fade from the spotlight and there could be, in essence, a co-presidency.”

Baier emphasized the importance of investigating the sudden change in Biden’s stance.

“What got [Biden] from adamant that he will be the nominee to writing a letter that he was going to step down? What was that? What epiphany happened?” he questioned.

The Fox anchor also highlighted the network’s surge in ratings during recent political events, including the attempted assassination of Donald Trump and the Republican National Convention.

He attributed this success to the speed and quality of Fox’s programming.

Commenters on the Daily Mail’s exclusive weighed in to express their confusion and frustration surrounding Biden dropping out of the race.

“I think the question should be, why we aren’t more upset about it,” one commenter said, adding, “Biden is a duly elected president, elected by the American voters.”

“Someone has taken control of this position of President, under the assumption it is legal.  Who are these people? I think they should show us where it says in the Constitution that what they have done is legal.”

Another user agreed with this person’s sentiment, further noting, “I have been questioning who is actually running the country for maybe a year now.”

“It is apparent that Biden can no longer handle the load,” they continued. “Some people in their comments suggest the Obamas or the Clintons are pulling the strings, but I wonder if it is actually “Doctor” Jill. Scary scenario!”

As the political landscape continues to shift, Baier expressed that he remains committed to uncovering the truth behind Biden’s decision.

“Anything is possible now,” he stated to Daily Mail, acknowledging the uncertainty surrounding the president’s ability to complete his term.
