Illegal Immigrants Used Exact Same Answer, Fake SSNs on 10,000 Parole Applications: Report

The Biden administration has temporarily suspended a controversial immigration program designed to expedite the entry of nationals from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela (CHNV) into the United States.

The decision comes on the heels of a damning report by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) that uncovered widespread potential fraud within the program’s application process.

The USCIS report, which aimed to identify patterns and trends in the applications, revealed a troubling array of fraudulent activities, the Western Journal outlined.

Among the most alarming findings were the use of fake Social Security Numbers (SSNs), including those belonging to deceased individuals.

It also included the submission of false phone numbers by program sponsors.

In a particularly brazen display of deception, the report found that 24 of the 1,000 most frequently used sponsor SSNs belonged to deceased individuals.

The Journal highlighted that even more egregious were instances of sponsors using obviously fictitious SSNs such as “111111111,” “123456789,” and “666666666.”

The investigation also unveiled suspicious patterns in the application process.

Remarkably, 100 addresses were listed on more than 19,000 immigration applications, raising red flags about the legitimacy of these submissions.

Some applicants even listed improbable residences, including mobile home parks, warehouses and storage units.

Digital forensics revealed further cause for concern.

The report noted that 51,133 applications originated from just 100 IP addresses, suggesting coordinated submission efforts.

Additionally, identical answers appeared on multiple applications, with one particular response recurring on over 10,000 forms.

Phone number irregularities also featured prominently in the findings.

In one instance, as detailed by the Journal, a single sponsor phone number appeared on over 2,000 forms submitted by 200 different sponsors.

Similarly, one parolee phone number was associated with 626 different forms, 238 different parolee last names and 142 different parolee addresses.

Responding to these revelations, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced a temporary pause in the issuance of advanced travel authorizations for new beneficiaries.

A DHS representative told Fox News, “Out of an abundance of caution, DHS has temporarily paused the issuance of advanced travel authorizations for new beneficiaries while it undertakes a review of supporter applications.”

The CHNV program, which allows up to 30,000 nationals from the four countries to legally enter the U.S. via parole if they meet certain conditions, has been a cornerstone of the Biden administration’s immigration policy.

DHS emphasized that the potential fraud appears to be concentrated among sponsors rather than the individuals seeking entry.

The revelation has drawn sharp criticism from Republican lawmakers.

House Committee on Homeland Security Chairman, Rep. Mark Green of Tennessee, lambasted the administration, stating, “This admission by the Biden-Harris administration vindicates every warning we have ever issued about the unlawful CHNV mass-parole program.”

Green further called for immediate action, asserting, “The Biden-Harris administration should terminate the CHNV program immediately.”

As the investigation continues, the future of the CHNV program hangs in the balance.
The Biden-Harris administration faces mounting pressure to address these security concerns while maintaining its commitment to immigration reform.
