While campaigning in the leftist-run city of Atlanta, Georgia, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for questioning his and former President Donald Trump’s loyalty to the U.S.
Speaking in front of a packed arena in Atlanta, Vance said Harris should “look in the mirror” if she wants to see “the face of disloyalty.”
The Ohio senator and Trump running mate also slammed Harris for her positions on illegal immigration, the economy and open borders, comparing the vice president’s beliefs to his and Trump’s.
“We can handle the made-up attacks by Democrats and by the media because we’re used to it by now,” Vance said.
“But, here’s something I can’t stomach about Kamala Harris, is when she has the nerve to question our loyalty to this country. And, she does,” he added.
The GOP vice presidential nominee then compared the policies that he and Trump believe would lead to American success to that of Harris’ record.
“Well, here’s what President Trump and I believe about loyalty. Loyalty to this country is closing our border, not opening it up. Loyalty is making life more affordable, not causing inflation because you can’t stop sending money like a drunken sailor,” he said.
“Loyalty is safeguarding Medicare for American citizens, not bankrupting it by sending it to illegal aliens, which is what she wants to do,” he added. “Loyalty is protecting Laken Riley, not allowing an illegal immigrant to take her life.”
“Loyalty is serving in the United States Marine Corps, something I am proud to have done. Loyalty is taking a bullet for this country, something Donald J. Trump did. Kamala Harris, if you want to see the face of disloyalty, look in the damn mirror,” Vance told the crowd.
This isn’t the first time Vance has fired back at Harris over her attacks against him and the former president.
During a previous rally in St. Cloud, Minnesota, Vance referenced remarks that the vice president had made, where she claimed that he “would be a rubber stamp” to Trump’s agenda and “be loyal only to Trump.”
While speaking in Minnesota, the Ohio Republican asked Harris what she’d done to question his loyalty.
In Atlanta, Vance touched on the subject of illegal immigration, saying that any foreign nationals currently residing in the U.S. must “start packing” because they would be deported in “six months” should Trump win the presidency.

As Breitbart News noted, Vance is the first Marine combat veteran to be a part of a presidential ticket. If Trump defeats Harris in November, he will also become the first millennial vice president.
Vance enlisted in the Marine Corps shortly after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, which took a little before he graduated from high school.
In an interview with Fox News, Vance recalled his service in the Marine Corps and how he was impacted by it.
The Ohio senator said his service “intersects with” the time he has spent in the Senate, explaining that he factors in what the reasons are when asking young individuals to “go to war” for the U.S.
