Former President Donald Trump warned that Vice President Kamala Harris’ choice of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz could spell disaster for the country in an interview with “Fox and Friends” on Wednesday, per the Post Millennial.
He said that the Harris-Walz ticket would lead to the U.S. becoming a Communist nation and drive it into an economic depression.
“I would say my reaction is: I can’t believe it,” Trump said about Walz being picked as Harris’ running mate. “I never thought that he was going to be the one that was picked.”
Before Harris announced Walz as her vice presidential pick, Trump had declared Harris as being “the most liberal elected politician in American history.” He slammed her radical views, ranging from gun control to immigration.
With Walz joining the Harris campaign, Trump implied the dangers of the two politicians working together.
He told the co-hosts that “there’s never been a ticket like this. This is a ticket that would want this country to go communist immediately, if not sooner.”
Trump also fired back at Walz after hearing a recording of the governor alleging that he did not comprehend “kitchen table” issues since he grew up in a wealthy family.
“I was not always sitting in Mar-a-Lago,” he said.
“Either way, I was sitting at lots of other places and built an unbelievable business, one of the greatest businesses. I built a business that is phenomenal.”Trump also shared his love for business and “creating jobs.” He also pointed out that inflation and the stock market crash on Monday have overshadowed the Biden administration. He emphasized that electing Harris and Walz could result in the U.S. experiencing a depression.
He expressed that it was Harris who did not understand the average American.“She’s for no fracking. She’s for defund the police … she was the original defunder of the police. She was the original no cash bail. Cashless bail, which has caused havoc,” said Trump.
“And look at how she’s destroyed San Francisco. [Harris] started it out as the DA in San Francisco with policies that were so bad. It’s a crime-ridden place. It went from the greatest city in America. It’s a crime place right now. It’s not livable. You can’t even live there,” he continued.
Trump said that Walz was a “smarter version” of Harris, sharing the same policies and woke ideation. He was shocked that the vice president chose someone who agreed with her entire agenda, instead of branching out for “somebody who’s different.”He claimed that the Democratic Party would not have envisioned her being their presidential candidate a few weeks ago, noting that the mainstream media has tried to turn her into “the next [British PM] Margaret Thatcher liberal version.”
